Taylor Swift, yet again, has some fresh material for a new breakup song: As rumored, Swift, 22, and One Direction's Harry Styles have split, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly.

Things went south last week for the couple during a vacation on Virgin Gorda, the third-largest of the British Virgin Islands -- with Swift cutting the holiday short and jetting back home to Nashville.

"They had a fight," one insider tells Us. British crooner Styles, 18, "said something he shouldn't have . . . This [breakup] is definitely going to be for good."

"They are 100 percent over," another insider adds, noting that the "Red" chanteuse could be "intense."

Swift was first seen flirting with Styles back in mid-November -- and was photographed holding hands with the boy bander a couple weeks later. Before ringing in the New Year with a sweet kiss, they went on a ski trip with another volatile young couple:  Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez .

The Grammy winner's previous high-profile flames include political scion Conor Kennedy,  John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner and Joe Jonas.

PSY says he knows why "Gangnam Style" became such a universal smash -- and it has nothing to do with his rapping.

The Korean sensation tells the Hollywood Reporter, "You can say it was all about the video, right? But I'm thinking, people are already done with the video. They’ve already seen it, and even if they repeat watching my video, they can do it at most, like, 20 times. Then you get tired of it, right? So it has to be the dance… [Because] they make it their own. They can improvise in different circumstances."

Taylor Swift is spending her 23rd birthday with One Direction's Harry Styles, touring the countryside of northern England. A fan photographed the pair playing with doves and swans in front of the Old England Hotel and Spa in the picturesque Lake District yesterday. On Tuesday, they hit the Rising Sun pub in Hope Valley, where manager Sarah Walker observed the two dining with friends. Though she says there was little evidence of them behaving like boyfriend and girlfriend, she adds, “[Taylor] was polite and pleasant… She is just having a nice tour of England. They were like any typical group of people having dinner. Everyone thinks they are a couple, but to be honest we had no sense of that at all.” Chaperoned by Harry’s mom, the couple also hit the Beatrix Potter store in Bowness, where T picked up some soft toys.

Taylor Swift will release a song a week on iTunes leading up to the October 22nd release of her new album, Red. Each Monday, starting this Monday, she'll appear on ABC's Good Morning America with a preview of the song that will be available the next day on iTunes. And on October 23rd, she'll perform a live concert on GMA.
